Welcome to the first and only real Irish pub in the Urals.The Old Dublin Irish Pub is a place where people of all nationalities meet, mingle and enjoy the craic! It all started back in 1998, when a home sick Irishman decided he needed to inject some fun and interest into the social life of Ekaterinburg. The seeds of what was to become the hippest place in town were sown! Then of course came the Russian economic crises of August '98. But, undeterred and with a strong belief in the viability of the project (and of course the fact that Irish pubs have always been with us through many upheavals and crises) construction contiued. Irish pubs, are about people, bringing each other closer together, relaxation and fun, these attributes, more than economics is what its really all about. Our doors first opened on the 9th April 1999 - we were taken aback and delighted by the crowds that burst their way in! Our interior was awarded the best in town by the Russian Guild of Designers and our summer veranda and window displays have also received numerous awards! But of course its the people that work here that really make the difference! Our top chefs are often invited by the city administration to hold masterclasses for visiting chefs and our waiting staff and bartenders have to be the warmest friendliest people you could ever meet!!
     Tammy Prior, a Californian consultant, set up our kitchen which has become famous throughout the region for its flair and originality! It has been said, that the food in Old Dublin is as good as, or even better than in some top class restaurants. Indeed, we always strive to use the freshest best quality 'in season' produce available. Our insistance on using only the best quality raw ingredients, with no gimmicks, no pre-prepared, pre-packaged items is reflected in the vivid and wholesome flavours of our dishes. Even the water we use in preparing our food is the best quality bottled water available. Each dish is individually prepared for you by our team of expert chefs and decorated with flair and panache! Our menu is constantly evolving with the seasons and of course in response to our customers' preferences. We also cater for those with special dietry requirements or allergies.
